Early collectors that mint at least 1 Arcade Life NFT will have a chance to win 2 historical NFTs from the CryptoArte & The CryptoCards collections. 1 Entry per wallet. You can see all the details on our Twitter post.
Inspired by Conway's Game of Life, Arcade Life leverages similar game mechanics, but with a number of retro twists, to create unique 1 of 1 pixel art played to you in the form of a video.
There are 4200 unique Arcade Life NFTs, each is algorithmically generated.
The game (NFT) played shows thousands of cells coming to life and dying over generations. This is truly one of a kind pixel art.
As well as the stats shown in the game, Arcade Life introduces PowerUps. A game mechanic that causes the direction of cells to take unique paths across the canvas, creating stunning patterns and behaviour.
PowerUps aren't always guaranteed as with real life there's probability of occurrences causing rarities to form. Take a look at the available game PowerUps below:
Common
Lasers projecting life.
Rare
New life appears, origins unknown...
Very Rare
Civilisation grows exponentially.
Uncommon
Nuclear strike, killing surrounding life.
Uncommon
Epoch Virus is discovered. Turning the old into young.
Rare
Epoch Virus has mutated. Turning the young into old.
Ultra Rare
There seems to be an issue with your game, hold tight.
All minted Arcade Life NFTs will be displayed as videos on the secondary market. Owners will also be able to download a snapshot image of the game at the last frame containing all the stats totalled up and displayed at the bottom of the image.
All rarities and stats for your NFT are stored and displayed on the market place giving those that like to explore more the chance to do so.
Collectors of Arcade Life will be rewarded for holding on to at least 1 of their NFTs, we're already working on Project #02 due for release Q1 2022 with other collections to follow. Make sure you don't miss out on this extraordinary collection!
We'd like you to be a part of our journey in this space. Join us from the very start with Arcade Life.
For those of you that like to dive deeper, expand the section below to explore the game mechanics, dynamics and PowerUps in full detail.
Here's an overview of the key game components that form an Arcade Life NFT. All the game components, properties and stats listed below will also be available to view on OpenSea etc.
These rules are executed on every generation throughout a game.
* Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if by underpopulation.
* Any live cell with two or three live neighbours continues to live on to the next generation.
* Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overpopulation.
* Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.
As inevitable with generations, society can cause changes along the way, in those less frequent parallel universes, expect to be surprised.
There are numerous PowerUps available for each game. Every powerup has a random likelihood of occuring. Some PowerUps are more rare in occurence than others. A game can have multiple PowerUps. More PowerUps = more chaos.

Each Arcade Life NFT is assigned a randomly generated player name. Who will be playing your game?
Each game is randomly assigned a colour palette. This colour palette will be applied to various components of your game e.g. each generation of cells, frame/border, stats, text etc.
Every game has a maximum number of generations. Once the maximum generation count has been reached, it's game over!
Mode A = Short length game with a total of 60 generations
Mode B = Standard length game with a total of 120 generations
Mode C = Feature length game with a total of 180 generations
Mode 1 = 150ms per generation
Mode 2 = 100ms per generation
Mode 3 = 50ms per generation
As soon as a game ends, all cells that survived are tallied up, categorized by how many generations they survived, and your final scores are displayed in your NFT.
Any black cells within a game represent dead cells. When it comes to scoring, these cells have 0 value.
There are 5 categories for surviving cells: Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5+.
We have taken extra steps to ensure a fair minting process. We have made sure none of the unique attributes and rarities belonging to Arcade Life NFTs are available pre-mint to avoid bad actors attempting to sway the minting process in their favour.
We decided to keep our mint price low as we'd like you to join us on our journey in this space. Once minted your Arcade Life NFT will be revealed within 72 hours.
